PERSPECTIVE -- The EIFFEL Tower -- PARIS, France

The TRUTH is TRUTH, no matter from what angle, no matter from which perspective. (i'll use my old photos of a trip to Paris to illustrate this point of view.)

The Eiffel Tower is France's most-frequented attraction (over 6 million visitors in 2006) and Le Jules Vernes is a one-star Michelin restaurant located on the Tower's second level. This is a traditional gastronomic French kitchen. The views of the city are remarkable from Le Jules Vernes, and the fare is reputed as excellent.

The Eiffel Tower, from this perspective and distance -- is plainly recognizable as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

From this closer perspective, this angle, looking up, the Eiffel Tower is definitely the one and only Eiffel Tower of Paris.

From this view point, the Tower dwarfs the tourists...the fact of its massiveness plainly shows that it's no Las Vegas imitation.

Looking up, from this closer perspective, one is able to see the intricate and seemingly delicate configurations of massive beams of steel.

And now at a much closer point of view, one can actually see the struts used -- details not discerned from the distance.

This perspective is much closer still, as it is now on a personal level. One is actually inside the world-famous icon.

On a still more personal level, the adventure of being in the Eiffel Tower deepens into an experiential level...drinking in the event literally.

And on a deeper level still, the senses of taste, touch, sight, smell, and hearing (clink of glass and silverware) make the reality of the Eiffel Tower an undeniable truth.

From this point of view, although the Eiffel Tower is not seen itself, it doesn't take away from the fact, the truth, that the viewer is inside the Tower. The person's belief system is sound, based on facts and truth that's experiential...REAL in all senses.

And here's the point -- the TRUTH that JESUS is The CHRIST, as the four different biographers stated 2,000 years ago, from four different points of view, still holds true, as it ALLways has -- JESUS is SON of GOD.

Matthew's gospel pictures CHRIST as the prophesied KING, Lion-like, the Davidic King, and David's Righteous Branch. This Gospel is prophetic and was written to the Jews.

Mark's gospel pictures CHRIST as the obedient SERVANT, Ox-like, the Servant of the LORD, GOD's Servant, the Branch. This Gospel emphasizes the practical and was written to the Romans.

Luke's gospel pictures CHRIST as the Perfect MAN, manlike, the Son of man; the Man, the Branch. This Gospel emphasizes the historical and was written to the Greeks.

John's gospel pictures CHRIST as the Mighty GOD, Eagle-like, the Word of GOD, the Branch of the LORD. This Gospel emphasizes the spiritual and was written to all the world.
(Pastor John Yates, Doctrine of CHRIST, Faith Bible Institute)

JESUS CHRIST, to me -- and all believers in Him -- is as real as the Eiffel Tower. Though i don't see Him with my physical eyes, i "see" Him with the eyes of my heart. And CHRIST is not in a distant, far-off place; nor will He ever be destroyed by time or weather; nor is He cold, unbending steel. JESUS, by the indwelling Holy SPIRIT, resides within each and every one who believes in Him.

JESUS is GOD's Love manifest in the flesh -- a love so unfathomable to the selfish, finite mind of humankind. CHRIST was the One Who came into the world to die for all sinners, such as i....such as you.
