Scenic view of NASELESELE's newly re-opened fishing grounds (May 30, 2014) -- which was kept as a preserve since around 2009 by Ratu TALEMO...

Village men and women setting up the net...

Encircling the much-sought-after fish...

Ratu Talemo's wife MATAWALU and the late Mika Maya's wife ANA -- directing the fishing activities...

Slowly closing the net -- just off Viubani Island -- the BIG catch to be hauled in to Naisogo Beach...
NAISOGO Beach...

Excited spectators welcoming the successful fishermen/women...

Tawake with a trevally -- a "thumb up" prize-of-a-catch...

Matawalu and Ana being congratulated by a visitor to Taveuni..

Naselesele folks, enjoying a little snack after the BIG FISHING...

Village ladies -- adding a splash of color to this already colorful event...

Magdalena, Matawalu and Ana -- enjoying a little rest...

Walking back to Naselesele to receive their share of the catch...

Matawalu--  organizing the sharing of the catch to all the families of the Naselesele clans...

Bountiful catch...

Needlefish -- yummy when fried...

Village folks patiently waiting their turn to receive their fish...

Even the children watch the drama unfold as the BIG sharing of the catch continue...

All the fish accounted for -- and all the families of the Naselesele clans satisfied...

Two very strong women -- ANA MAYA and MATAWALU RATAKELE -- may GOD continue to bless them both with His wisdom and loving presence as they continue to be pillars of support for all at Naselesele Village.

Who can find a virtuous and capable wife?
She is more precious than rubies.
Her husband can trust her,
and she will greatly enrich his life.
She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.

JIM BIBI's Hideaway

The last time i visited Bibi's Hideaway, Jim was still alive. We had lively fellowship and sharing of our personal faith in CHRIST...
As i walked around Jim's garden property, i saw his personal loving touch everywhere.

Flappy -- aged pet...

Bountiful windfall...

My favorite juice - fresh bu right off the tree...

Backyard harvest...

A monkey's favorite snack -- when ripe...

A splash of red ginger...

Also known as ostrich plume -- Alpinia Purpurata...

The pomelo tree just behind the main house -- ever fruitful...

If you like sour --- this will do!

White poinsettia blooms...

Coffee beans to make your favorite java brew...

Jim's son Pat -- tending his young 'uns with TLC...

A curtain of passion fruits near the kitchen area -- and many places elsewhere around Jim's Hideaway garden property...

James and Elizabeth Bibi -- hard work, joy in the LORD and Bibi's Hideaway -- their legacy to their children and their children's children...

Bibi's Hideaway sign -- refurbished by rLn...

My child, pay attention to what I say.
Listen carefully to my words.
Don’t lose sight of them.
Let them penetrate deep into your heart,
for they bring life to those who find them,
and healing to their whole body.
Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life.
Avoid all perverse talk;
stay away from corrupt speech.
Look straight ahead,
and fix your eyes on what lies before you.
Mark out a straight path for your feet;
stay on the safe path.
Don’t get sidetracked;
keep your feet from following evil.
(Proverbs 4:20-27, NLT)
